Senior CloudOps Engineer

Currently, we are looking for Senior System Administrator to join us.
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with a minimum of 3.5 years of experience for a senior CloudOps Engineer role. The ideal candidate will be an AWS expert with hands-on proficiency in VPC, Route53, ELB, S3, RDS, and more. Technical proficiency includes monitoring solutions, automation, CI/CD, and GCP knowledge. The candidate should excel in mentorship, system maintenance, and incident management, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
AWS Expertise:
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including VPC, Route53, ELB, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
- Proficiency in AWS billing and cost optimizations, AWS Well-Architected Reviews, tagging of resources, cloud management, and RDS.
Monitoring and Alerting:
- Implement and manage monitoring solutions using tools like Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog,Pingdom etc.
Technical Proficiency:
- Strong knowledge of Unix systems and networking.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, istio, and other and other cloud-native technologies
- Ability to automate tasks using Terraform, Bash, and Python.
- Working knowledge of Jenkins, Spinnaker, CircleCi, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Configuration Management Tools such as Ansible or AWS OpsWorks.
- Good understanding of GCP with practical knowledge.
Mentorship and Collaboration:
- Act as a mentor to junior team members.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work with minimal supervision.
- Should be able to work in 24x7 environment.
System Maintenance and Security:
- Perform routine system maintenance and backups.
- Ensure the security of cloud systems and data.
Incident and Change Management:
- Manage incidents and changes using tools like JIRA or similar.
- Scripting knowledge for automation and efficiency.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- AWS Associate/Professional certification with practical experience.
- GCP Associate/Professional certification with practical experience.
- Familiarity with automation tools and Linux certifications.
- Administrator-level knowledge of SQL Server.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3.5 years of experience in cloud operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Experience with operating production-critical SaaS environments is a plus.
