Streamlining Business Processes with Autonomous AI

We helped an enterprise deploy autonomous AI to automate complex workflows, enabling faster data processing, intelligent querying, and real-time decision-making across multiple databases.

For many enterprises, the promise of data-driven decision-making is often hampered by the sheer manual labor required to manage that data. Our client faced a twofold operational crisis that threatened to stall their growth. 

First, teams were trapped in a cycle of manual repetition. Handling constant invoice inflows from multiple vendors in PDF format involved tedious reconciliation against database records. This “time sink” was a breeding ground for human error and costly discrepancies.  

Second, the company struggled with invisible data silos. Managing metadata extraction and constructing a cohesive knowledge graph remained out of reach, leaving them “data-rich but insight-poor.” 

Faced with these bottlenecks, the company sought to build next generation of business applications that could autonomously perform complex tasks with unprecedented accuracy and efficiency.

To achieve this, we implemented a structured and phased architecture designed to bridge the gap between raw data and autonomous action.  

The foundation of this system ensured comprehensive metadata extraction from multiple data sources, including Postgres and MongoDB. To turn this raw data into actionable intelligence, we developed a sophisticated knowledge graph to identify complex relationships between entities and support advanced query formation. 

To democratize this data, we created an LLM-powered chatbot that translates natural language (NL) queries into SQL, utilizing Trino as the high-performance query engine. We further empowered these LLMs to parse PDF documents directly, automating the previously manual task of information extraction. By ensuring that autonomous agents could perform queries and predictions across all data platforms, we created a unified ecosystem designed to optimize decision-making at scale.

The successful implementation of this scalable, intelligent data querying solution has redefined the company’s operational baseline. By automating information extraction, the enterprise significantly improved efficiency in tasks like invoice reconciliation, while the knowledge graph improved query accuracy and offered deep insights by revealing hidden entity relationships. 

The impact was immediate: the agent development lifecycle accelerated, enhancing the company’s adaptability to evolving enterprise data needs. Furthermore, the system’s ability to support complex cross-database queries through Trino enhanced overall performance, providing the real-time insights and predictive analytics necessary for better, faster decision-making.
